For running backs, Dalvin Cook is a fucking maniac out of Florida State. Also has pretty soft hands and should turn out to be a reliable catch option too. Injuries might be a concern as he has had some shoulder issues, but he's the best natural runner in the draft. I really want Christian McCaffrey to make it at the pro level, but not sure he has the size to operate as a full time RB, especially on blocking duty. He is an ankle breaker on returns though, and can open teams up from anywhere on the field if he gets going, so might make a very useful Reggie Bush type weapon. Leonard Fournette is the other big star running back in the draft. He's a beast, and on paper looks great. But I would have the same worry about him that I have with a lot of the big name Crimson Tide RBs that come out - he already has A LOT of miles on the clock. something like 700 carries. Those SEC defences are not fuck about things, and he's been making Leonard shaped holes in them for four quarters, week in week out for three years. If he goes somewhere with a decent line, he'll be explosive. But if he has to start making holes for himself on Sundays, I think he could get ground down and struggle the way we've seen other Alabama/SEC RBs struggle - Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Todd Gurley, etc.
As far as tight ends go, OJ Howard has perennially been the most underused player in college football at Alabama.
