Im really excited for next season. I just want less injuries.

The Browns with a decent trade to move down in the draft.

Especially getting Philadelphia's 1st round pick next year, that could be huge.

That is an even bigger shafting than the Titans gave the Rams ... First step to making the Browns a decent team - and next year, they get the Clemson QB.

Cleveland has the general manager with a baseball background if I remember correctly.

This is a good first start, but like golgotha says, they are Cleveland.

Thats what i thought.

I was listening to some draft experts talk about things recently , both were asked if they had a to pick the one player they felt is most likely to be a ten year starter in the league and they both picked Ryan Kelly who i think went 18th to the Colts.

I like Wentz to work with, and think the way it went down worked out better for the Eagles. Dude's feet are all wrong and he doesn't make great reads, but he has a Popeye arm and already has a good range of throws. If you get tape of him throwing long to the outside though, you'll see he's not ready for Sundays yet. Goff has way more reps under his belt and is ready to go day one, but I don't know if he has much of a ceiling. But we all know some players find themselves in the pros, so who knows. I wouldn't have been happy giving up all those picks, but the Rams are in a new city and need to get something going right now.

I think the top positional players taken after the QBs all have great promise. Bosa is one of those players who is good at everything, so might not appear elite at any one thing, but his coaches will love him. And he reads the run brilliantly. Plus, he's a fucking Visigoth. I really like Jalen Ramsey. They could play him at corner or free safety. He'll shut dudes down.

Best value went to the Dolphins. Tunsil's elephant bong shenanigans cost him a few mill, but Miami have to be happy with that.

I don't like Dallas taking a running back that high, and I like Houston's pick, great potential.

All in all, just a huge tease until the fall.

I like the Elliott pick. Both because of what he brings - good mover between tackles and a superb blocker when not carrying - and because of what the Cowboys needed. If he can get you playing like 2014 again, then that's the direction you want to be going surely? He's a pro-ready running back slotting into probably the best blocking line in the league at a time when Romo doesn't need to being asked to do more than he can. I also like the Jaylon Smith pick. Obviously it's something of a zero sum game, depending on how his knee turns out, but if he gets back to his best he is probably the best player in the class. Also thought Jacksonville picked very well, albeit with caveats on the Jack pick similar to those on Smith's.

Why take Smith over Jack though!? That's why I don't like the Smith pick ... or am I being stupid?

I think Elliot was a mistake ... Great player yes - but we were ok with McFadden and Morris is fine too. If you get a Ramsey, you have two great young CB/S types in him and Jones ... Oh well ... Seems like Jerry's pick.

Unless they are an Adrian Peterson level freak of nature I'm not really sure why you would use a top 15 (or maybe even first round all together) pick on a running back in today's NFL.

Its getting to the point where its is borderline foolish to use a draft pick on a running back at all.

Will be interesting to see if they can get anything out of Rico Gathers as a project.
Freakish physique and frame.

What do you make of the QB that they drafted? Dak Prescott.

Needs a lot of work on mechanics but he's got the tools to be a NFL QB. Tough to tell with QBs how good they can be long term but he's probably a better option than Cassel or Weeden! ;)

A record NFL draft for the Mountaineers. Hopefully this should help with the recruitment.
