I moved from Koptalk as Royzared to this forum and 1892 were I have a few more posts, several thousand, although I have not posted there for years. I can't handle confrontation, but that's what I love about you guys, why I tune in every day.

Hey man - Why me (Lewy) is now called Barba Roja and sure I would love to rock down and see you guys. I'll be sipping tea and elderflower cordial but I'm sure you understand. Apart from a few minor slips I've been completely sober for 18 months now so I reckon it's do-able.

No, but no one can pick on me. By the way that is my artwork from before my hand started shaking.I did a portrait of Shankly and presented to him, me and my sister took it in her pram, the Daily Post was there.

You didn't honestly take my comment about drinking vodka in a campsite toilet in Suffolk at 8am seriously did you?! Bloody hell man - I even sniff a shandy and my liver will explode. Acute varises man. Not much fun when you've spent 5 days in intensive care because you think maybe I can sneak a cheeky..... Erm liver says NO! Never been happier to be honest. :)

Well, technically it's "You're" (to be grammatically correct, inverted commas should always be doubled - single ones should only be used for a quote contained within another quote) and your sentence could do with a full stop at the end. :p

To add to the circle of pedantry, this completely depends on which publishing style convention you are using. Often academic publishers prefer it the other way around. :sleep:
 
When did that happen? It would have appalled my High School English teachers. I thought it was just another example of Internet-inspired erosion of standards. Matter of fact, thinking about it I'll bet that's exactly where it originates. :redcard:
