I’ve given up on Kiev. Anybody from Liverpool let me park a campervan in their driveway? I’m coming to Liverpool bitches!

If you lads are serious about coming to Liverpool, be warned, we'll/you'll (depending if you all want to meet up) have to get in somewhere early. Very early.

Been ringing round all day. The biggest places have all done tickets & have sold out. Only exception is all around the world which is a bierkeller place, its £20 a head to get in & nearly £6 a pint. Hence them not selling out. I'm fucked if I'm paying that.

There's a fair few decent places including a couple of sports bars not doing a ticket system but obv will need to be there early.

Also, is there not going to be some big screen shit going on in the centre of Liverpool? Because there fucking should be.

Cant we all go to Foxys and watch it on his 100in plasma and pay £10 subs for beer? Just messing. I'm down for watching it with you fellas in Liverpool. I'll be damned if I'm watching it in Manchester

Set up your own party. Cheap and nasty, but with the crew and the right soul.

If it wasn't for my wife & kids I'd well do that mate. Already have the fuck off huge screen & the ale would be a lot cheaper. Can't imagine me telling Bex that she & the kids have to stay elsewhere for the night would have pleasant results for me though.

Right, doc mac, the only parking at mine is Street parking, we don't have a drive. There is already a motor home parked in the street though so it's obv allowed, but cos there's so many cars it's doubtful you'd get outside my gaff, but you'd obv be welcome to enjoy our facilities as you wish.

I've been ringing round & have found out mccooleys have 'sold out' but left room for at least 200 more first come through the door. So that's an option.

There's also a couple of other sports bars that haven't done ticket systems at all so again we'd be able to get in no probs as long as we were early enough.

I figure getting in for half 5 & spending £20 on drink as opposed to paying £20 to be able to turn up at 7 is probably preferable anyway!

There's one really really cheap sports bar on wood st that does 4 bottles for a tenner or pints for under £3. The downside is the toilets give the King Harry a run for its money for cleanliness.

This is a split of posts from the Kiev thread that myself & others inadvertently hijacked.

As such these first ones may not all make sense or seem in context (or they may, I haven't split them as I write this).

Get a cheap space somewhere.
It will be just like setting up an illegal rave, just but a big fuck off telly where the DJ usually is.

Not quite that easy. You'd need to have a way of watching a game only shown on satellite or cable. Not quite that easy. Could do a stream but the chances of it going off & causing a mini riot would be high.

I’ve heard the big screen is being put back up in Williamson square for the game.
Ahh. Promising. The ale free rules fuck things up majorly there though. I remember watching England there many moons ago & having to sneak refills off warm cans into empty cups I'd bought from an enterprising wimpy employee who decided to sell their empty cups for a quid each.

Plus queuing for ages for the six or so Porto loos cos everyone's doing beak in them.

Game will be on YouTube mate. As part of the contract BT have to stream it publicly. It's what they've done the last 2 years

Anyone know when the victory parade will be?
I'm hoping Sunday afternoon for selfish reasons so Luke can watch it cos we are going to Wales Monday morning.

As it's a Bank Holiday & after 05 the club were slated for doing the parade the day after cos travelling fans couldn't go, I suspect it'll be the Monday this time.

Sunday. Amma miss it. Not back till Monday. Unless we blag onto flights straight back.

Trufax: After Istanbul I was in a pub after the parade and there were a few Irish lads and a kid in the same pub as us and I got talking to them, and they'd been the final the night before, and I said it was cool that they'd booked to come back to Liverpool for the parade, and they said no ways... they got back to the airport and it was a free for all for charter flights and people legging everwhere and they just jumped on a Liverpool one. That happened. In real life.

Yep I can vouch for that. It was fucking mental at the airport. No one had s frigging clue what was going on. I was shattered, between me and a mate we slept one hour at a time whilst the other kept an eye and ear out for the flight back to Manchester. Flight back was soo quiet, everyone was just nackered and needed sleep. Got into Manchester about 10am, went straight to W H Smith to pick up every newspaper to read the match reports at home, went to sleep for a few hours then drove to Liverpool for the victory parade. Craziest 48hrs ever

Despite being pleased for my own sake it's a bit out of order they're planning to do that again.

As it's a Bank Holiday Monday there's not really any logical reason.

I hate that I have to remind you that there are ferries.

When I go to home game's...6-8 per season on average (approx) I seldom fly directly into Liverpool because the prices of flights are always extortiante when we're at home. It's usually Manchester and in recent times Birmingham...10-15 mins to New St change there then approx 1hr 40 mins gets you to Lime Street - usually pretty cheap too if you book them early enough.

Stream is doable. Only invite the people you know and the lunatics from here.
Could still very much kick off, mind...
