Lallana slips on a banana

We have forsaken Lucas, our penance was always going to start with Lallana. Let us pray it is enough.

Whilst it is bad news. If (and it is a big IF) Coutinho stays then we can be sure he will absolutely spend his time in that CM trio with Hendo/Gini/Can rather than rotating with Mane, Salah and Firmino.

I wouldn't be surprised if it just means Studge/ Kent/ Woodburn are given more opportunities to be the impact sub that I am certain Lallana was more likely to become this season.

I do agree that seeing injuries like this come in does highlight the lack of depth we have. Or at least lack of proven depth. For all we know Grujic, Kent etc. could hit the ground running the PL, but it is a risk we can't take.

The other problem for Lallana is that he was shite when he didn't get a pre season for us and was much better last season when he got a full one.

So with three months out he won't hit top stride til the new year at best.

Disaster as at times last year he was our main man.

It will really show when we CL, League, games coming thick and fast and our other creative players fatigue or go off the boil.

I get lambasted for stating we need more quality players and our squad isn't big enough or good enough but this is just another example of why we need more players pronto.

Yep, you're definitely the only person on this site who's suggested we might need more players, profound dreamy, as skully said, you're a visionary, we aren't worthy of your foresight.

Perhaps but I'm definitely the one who gets called a negative Utd cock sucking prick for it.

We've sign one player who looks capable of adding star quality one long term potential player where our record at such deals is shite and an extremely raw left back.

No GK, no CB, no DM, no CM, only one wide player and no 1st team striker.

Rubbish absolute rubbish

Stop the fucking press.

An extremely raw left back. You mean we have filled a position we have been shite at since.... Christ I can't even recall, before Stig? With another shite LB. Just speaka the English man.

Woah fucking woah

Dont be forgetting about my man Fabio aurelio

Even if he was made of soggy crisps

Yeah, he had no bearing on our season last time out, whatsoever. If you're a fucking gobshite.

He was shite and all a couple of decent games and a brilliant free kick doesn't change that.

Riise was the best of a bad bunch

No he wasn't. He had bad injuries but he was a cracking player, "shite" doesn't even come close, you hyper-critical fucking bore.

Opinions are great aren't they.

Cracking player me hole.

Talk about low standards.

Don't worry Coutinho will go and you can stop following the team.

From the same poster who banged on about having watched Robinson so much last season, that you were completely convinced he was "meh", only to then backtrack after he had a good 45 minutes in a friendly, saying you might have got it wrong after all.

So don't talk to me about standards and shit, you don't know whether you're coming or fucking going.

As for the last sentence, that's rich coming from a Manc obsessive. Quit being contrary for the sake of being contrary, no one respects you any better for trying to show some faux hyper cynical side, you just come off as even more out of your depth.
