Have been enjoying this. England look like a proper one day side now, though wouldn't be surprised to see India win the thing. Anyone else been tuning in?

yes Doc, choke a bit, just a little bit ... and then choke some more.

Tough watching that

ABD has not come back from injury well at all
Amla is still very inconsistent.
De Kock as I said years ago has become one of the top young players in the world.
If you're going to use racism to build the team, at least give us Ngidi and not Parnell. Kak.
We miss Steyn's arrogance and nastiness - but he's finished.

The Saffers have some great players coming through. Rabada is going to be one of the best players in the world, IMHO. They just haven't looked comfortable in English conditions thus far. England will want that to continue into the tests.

I mentioned Rabada years ago - he's going to have a similar effect on the sport like Chester had on Rugby ... And I think with some fine tuning (hopefully 1-2 more years with Steyn), I also think he'll be one of the best ... The youngster I mentioned also - Ngidi - is of similar stock imo ...

Bar de kock though, nothing that promising batting wise ...

I am not blaming the English weather conditions at all - we choked, full stop. Bottlers.

Man, Alma has been anything but inconsistent against England. I expect him to be a pain in the as to get out in the tests. De Villiers and De Kock will also be big players.

De Kock will hopefully take the next step in his career now - he's ready to be the undoubted batting leader of this team.

Amla - Sad to say this, but I think he's showing signs of losing it ... Very very inconsistent ~18-24 months. You'll probably get a few 10s-20s and 1 century or so ...

ABD - flip a coin. No clue which ABD we'll see ...

I thought England were going to walk away with this tournament but credit to Pakistan, they were brilliant today.

That's pretty much perfect cricket from Pakistan.
More hit and miss than any other team but showing on their day when they hit it'll be scintillating cricket and put away a really good team like India

this felt like Greece ... average team that just did everything it needed to do to win game after game.
Well deserved.

Congrats.

I'd say they are slightly better than an averag team
They might not be household names but they are not a shoddy side, put both England and India to the sword with impressive victories.

Yup. I haven't followed cricket much but it looks like Pakistan are a young team discovering consistency. Interesting to see if they will build on this but they have played perfect cricket the last three games.

They shat on SA too ... and as you're the champions, average + ... better? :)
