Still not getting the press mauling his shitness deserves, but at least the tide seems to be turning a bit after his rant. Fucking weapon. Seen his style of management described as 'morbid defeatism'. That's pretty good that.

Stop getting Sturridge injured playing meaningless friendlies u wanker. I can't believe that he is still damaging us after his sacking

I'd be interested to know how Greg Dyke's colleagues on the FA Council feel about Dyke having committed them to keeping Hodgson till the Euros.

The irony of him making less from the players that he has and yet blaming the press and fans for not enjoying it.... like he thinks England fans wanted England to be shit year in year out...

He is a fucking Idiot and if he had been a northener he would have been sacked by now.

I'm not convinced England are meant to be a legitimately competitive side.

I think of them to football as the Harlem Globetrotters to basketball.

Or maybe they're the Washington Generals.

Hodgson was blathering on about how he only has the players he has and there are no David Beckhams or Bryan Robsons etc.

The thing is though that England were shit then as well.

Not many teams in the world have a better selection of players than we do (5-10 maybe), unfortunately most teams in the world have a better management and a clear idea of what they want to see from their national side.

It's classic Hodgson to make out that he's hampered by his players and their limited abilities

If Woy was as passionate about football as he is about great big clunking watches, he'd probably be a better manager.

Wonder how they feel about him publicly hinting they're mediocre. It may be true but it's remarkably clumsy and stupid, even for him.

It's the first sign of him cracking up. If we don't get a result on Monday, I can see it spiralling out of control.

I think it's all going splendidly. To see the rest of the country feel the pain we once did, it's like a dream. Can't wait for the Euros.

I think you're right. There was even a moment of face-rubbing at the most recent press conference.

Nice one Greg Dyke.

I loved the "2 shots on target?? Dont talk to me about stats!"

Hate the fucking nonce. Shows how incompetent the FA are appointing him and then giving him 2 more years.

The irony with that was he then tried to counter with the stat we'd had more possession.

He's lashing out which is a sure sign he's losing it

I love the fact that everyone is now getting to see the guy for what he really is after giving us loads of shit for turning on him.

In many ways England deserve him.Whereas other countries take failure as a cue for change, we just seem to think we can keep doing the same thing and blame someone or something for why it's not working. Hodgson in a nutshell.

I just wish there were no Liverpool players involved but we now seem to make up half the fucking team.

Any Liverpool fan could have written the book on Roy Hodgson's reign as England manager long before it started. In some ways he's doing the right things, picking talented young players with one eye on the future, but what lets him down, and defines him, is his rigid, defensive outdated tactics and his inability to blend a team together. He was never going to be a success and the fact he still has a job owes more to comedy than anything else.

I think the appointment of this man says more about his bosses than him.

He is the wrong man in the wrong job at the wrong time.

The FA should swallow their pride and worry less about political correctness and more about progressive coaching and tactics.

I legitimately cringe at the memory of him running our club. I thought he was a reasonable choice at the time, a steady set of hands.

I worship at the alter of Brendan now and am so very thankful I dont have to to pretend Woy is wighting our wonged wobbly ship.

He seems like a horribly thick nutter. How on earth the media has decided to be so kind to him is amazing. British media's knowledge in football seems really really poor. Especially considering how they were all calling Spurs as dark horse for title last season, and how they were wanking about 3-5-2 and now how United have had an amazing transfer window (when clearly they have had a very very speculative and high risk transfer window) etc...it's very clear to me that most of the so called "pundits" in British media seem absolutely clueless.

When it comes to Hodgson, it seems like a case of a bunch of thick cunts backing another thick cunt to the hilt.

It wouldn't surprise me that the media are nice to him because they've been clamouring for an English manager for a while. They're cutting him slack for that.

Now he's losing them now
