Our targets this summer are as follows;

Naby Keita
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Julian Brandt

It lacks a stand out player in my opinion (I don't rate Brandt as high as others), but this list would provide us with three very good centre backs (Matip, Lovren and VVD), an upgrade in midfield, as I'd assume Keita would walk into the team, a player who's able to play the Lallana role as well as the winger role to good effect, and a genuinely top class forward to add to our current compliment. It improves the first team, improves the squad, and provides genuine options off the bench, all good right?

Well, it still lacks a wow player in my mind, a player who'll come into the team and score and genuinely be superb, and take us to the next level, maybe that player is Brandt, I'm not convinced though.

He has already done a list, but these are the strongest rumours going, and make the most sense in terms of balance, so I'm wondering if people think this would be a good summer or not. Pulisic rumours are just a rehash of last summer at the moment it seems, unfortunately.

I think getting Dijk would be a real coup given the level of interest in him. Ditto Keita.

So on that front you'd have to be really happy. I'm not so sure about the other three. It would depend on who leaves.

The biggest issue based on that list is that once again we'd be going into the season without a recognised senior LB, which would be disappointing.

You not a fan of AXO? For £20million, and competing for Lallana and Mane's position, I think he's be a great buy.

I'm torn about the goalkeeper though, Mignolet is playing good enough at the moment to be our goalkeeper, the problem is that a month into next season he'll probably turn into a giant turd again.

Agree about VVD though, I like him, but not at the prices they'll no doubt ask for him.

If we could swap Oxo-Cube for Coric, and Brandt for Dolberg then I'm happy.

We're not gonna sign a new goalkeeper going by Klopps comments and the latest stories from the journos. I dont think its high up on list of what we need either this summer.
I'd be pissed off if we spent 20 mill on Joe Hart.

Van Dijk, Keita, Sessegnon, Oxlade or Brandt (Douglas Costa is probablty asking for to much) and Dolberg. That would be an insanely good summer.

I hear many things, it is difficult to isolate any one rumour from the cacophony of other voices.

Julian Brandt - Not sure, is a he a winger? If so, he's either on the bench or taking the place of one of the current lot?

So no, I'd not be too impressed with that as our summer transfer business inbound.

I think we need a GK, CB, LB, DM, CF. All ready to go straight into the first team. And the above fixes maybe 2 of the 5 positions.

I would be ecstatic if we bought all those players and the WOW factor is definitely there with Keita and Sessegnon.

He has done well at Burnley. But Burnley are a fairly defensive side who offer a lot of protection to their defenders. Not sure if he can perform at the level in a Klopp side with bare minimum protection from midfielders.

Sakho looks like a defensive colossus in some games for Crystal Palace. Maybe we are better off letting him come back.
