Not an exciting signing if it does happen but would be a very handy option to have on the bench. Not sure why peope are concerned about his upper body, hes naturally undersized compared to most defenders so its clearly going to help him win the physical battles.

Many thanks Jack and Junior.

For those who didn't catch a couple of my posts in an earlier thread, I've had some heavy duty personal stuff to deal with which has gone about as badly wrong as these things can ever go, and totally cut me off at the knees. That situation's not going to change, but I'm handling it and slowly blinking my way into the light again.

I missed your earlier posts JJ. Good to see you back mate, I hope whatever has gone on gets better and you find some peace with it all, you know where we all are. YNWA.

Arf. Reminds me of an Aussie TV series many years ago, so bad it was brilliant, called "Prisoner Cell Block H" which was set in a women's prison where one of the warders went by the nickname of "Vinegar Tits".

Loved that show

It's back on oncy, that's what Wentworth is, it's shite and doesn't even have the cardboard walls or Mrs Mangle. And they killed Bea. Denied.

The original was about as sexy as horse manure. I can't imagine anyone tuned in for that reason - it was just so awful, I watched it with a sort of horrified fascination. "Wentworth" is more along those lines and snazzier generally but, as mark says, pure garbage with zip in the way of redeeming "qualities".

It was just terrible. So bad. But it was on at about 2am when there was nothing else on. So it became a regular show for me. Half the cast were from Neighbours so it was like Neighbours gone wrong

Feck off JJ.

Coming around here with your lack of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Not to mention your general good humour, wisdom etc etc

You make me sick ruining the otherwise general crapness herein...

BTW Shaqiri is meh

Anyone turning their nose up at him for £12 million needs to take a look at our bench. Absolute state of it currently, he is better attacking option than Ings and Solanke, and is some proper cover for the front 3. I'd take him all day.

Yeah, but it's not hard to find players you'd prefer to see on the bench than Danny Ings and Solanke.

The point of buying top players and not squad players anymore is that once you buy a player for the first-team, you downgrade a starting player to the bench, and therefore strengthen it, not by buying directly for the bench.

Oh yeah. This too.

And also, when that new player turns out to be actually not very good, the aforementioned player can swap places and reclaim his first team spot, because that's always a good sign that the squad is improving and there is "genuine competition for places".
