Draxler

Klopp seemed pretty pissed that he seemingly valued the money most when it came to deciding which club to move to last January.
I somehow doubt Klopp will go back in for him if he believes he has that attitude.

Klopp isn't stupid though - he knows he needs talent, not just in the back and middle of the pitch, but up front. Depth - as he saw last year - is key.
IF we had any chance to sign Draxler, I couldn't see Klopp saying no ... Just like Mourinho wouldn't say no to Lukaku, after binning him.

I don't know much about Draxler is i'm honest, is he clinical, a good passer, a tricky winger? If he's someone who could play on the wing, in the new Coutinho position, or even challenge Firmino, he sounds looks a must have.

Draxler was terrific at the Confederations Cup. If he's available we should be all over that.

And all over Mahrez too. Somebody has t sell someone to us if we try hard enough.

I got a good feeling for a Draxler signing. Not more rational behind it than I was sure Aquilani, Markovic and Ballotelli would prove good for us.... but I like the prospect and think he can blossom in an offensive role with us.

[article]Italian news outlet Transfermarketweb have set off alarm bells claiming that Man United and Liverpool could be about to table offers for Draxler.[/article]

Translation: Liverpool are not interested.

Rory Smith of the Times says we are unlikely to sign Draxler. Don't think there's been a genuine link it's more speculation.

I've been thinking more about this. We were supposed to have some concrete interest in Draxler in January, right?

With Lallana injured, Coutinho downing tools and Draxler able to cover about 4 forward positions and with huge potential, why on earth are we not moving quickly to get the one readily available top class young talent around?

Just get it done.

Because we're... *help me out here*

Pearce says it isn't an area of the pitch Klopp wants to strengthen in...

Going to just be VVD is it ? Doubt we will see that midfield maestro signing this window

With llama out for a couple of months , who knows how coutinho will perform and how long the attacking talent available at present will remain fit for... I guess Woodburn and Kent could get their chances in the first team this season...

[article]One player who certainly won’t be Anfield bound is Julian Draxler.

Paris Saint-Germain are open to offers for the Germany international following their world record £200million swoop for Neymar and Liverpool have been linked with a move for him.

Klopp was interested in the left-sided attacker last season and held talks with him, but Draxler turned down the Reds when he left Wolfsburg and signed for PSG instead in January.

Liverpool have no intention of going back in for him as that isn’t an area of the squad Klopp is looking to strengthen.

With summer signings Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke on board, Klopp is happy with the options he’s got in terms of his front three.

The Reds boss is though still open to bolstering his ranks in centre-midfield. Liverpool have been left short in that area by injuries to Coutinho and Adam Lallana.[/article]
