OK, so Lovren, Clyne and Mane not available. I guess it will be Trent, Matip and Origi instead. I wonder what "Plan B" Klopp was talking about for back-up to Trent. The journalist tried to press him for specifics, but all Klopp was willing to say was "you will see." I actually think it could be Gini.

Camacho? Fabinho?

The Telegraph seem to undervalue Bournemouth a bit here:

[bcolor=transparent]Fighters they may be but, now marooned in the bottom three after their sixth defeat in seven games, Burnley face the most uncomfortable of seasonal fixture lists, of Brighton, Arsenal and Tottenham. Liverpool, meanwhile, can look forward to the mid-table scrabblers of Bournemouth, Wolves and Manchester United. In this season when even the tough guys of Turf Moor cannot stall their progress, everything looks rosy for Klopp. [/bcolor]

If Lovren has concussion can't we tell him he's Gomez?

Could backfire

I'd rather Klopp plays Sturridge than Origi.

Klopp has 12-3-0 in the 15 first rounds and you have disagreed with him every round.... Guess the best thing about Swedes are their lovely neighbours!!

Yes, I've disagreed with him every round. We would have been 15-0 if he listened.

Why can't Shaqiri play there? Or Salah?
Why can't we play with the front four who ended the game against Burnley?

Shaqiri is terrible on the left; he is a very “one-sided” player. Salah could probably play there if needed, but it’s also not his best position or even 2nd best position. In the end of the Burnley game Firmino actually was the one who played on LW.

Based on the training video it looks like Lallana maybe the one to start on the left - oh well, we are being setup for a loss here. Hearing Gomez, and Lovren out - kind of makes me worry we have fuck all cover for the back.

--------------Alisson
TAA - Matip - VvD - Robbo
---Gini --- Fabinho--- Keita
-------------Shaq
---Salah----------Sturridge

I think Bobby still needs more rest as I reckon he will start against Napoli and Utd next week. In midfield Gini and Fabinho will be fresh while Keita deserves to keep his place after his performance midweek, plus hes not played that much so hes lessy legfy than most

I like that lineup...would consider Origi instead of studge though.

Im in London today so will be looking for a central-ish boozer to watch this in if anyone is about and fancies a pint and some thinly veiled cynicism about football/footballers/the state of the world today/weather etc message me.

Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are set to return to the starting XI this afternoon, according to Paul Joyce.

Liverpool: Alisson, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita, Shaqiri, Salah, Firmino.
Subs: Mignolet, Mane, Henderson, Sturridge, Lallana, Origi, Alexander-Arnold.
