Are you sure it wasn't just some 'simulation' training?

Bas Dost? Is that a name or a movie about a German submarine?

I dunno but it's making me think about what we should have done with Moreno a long time ago

Wow... Their president has always seemed like a compete shitbag, but this is just insane. Wouldn't blame their players for rescinding their contracts en masse, they must now have ample legal grounds for doing so.

We've been interested in Gelson Martins for a while, so he could be one. KingBinny also posted something about Bruno Fernandes, but I'm not sure these are not made up.

Just Moreno? No mignolet or Lovren? We could’ve shifted Lucas a decade ago doing this.

The league is finished now. They ended on 3rd place. They were in 2nd place, but lost on the last day and Benfica overtook them. 2nd place gives access to champions league playoff, while 3rd goes to europa league.

They have invested heavily to win the league. That's the single most important thing. They haven't won it in 15 years or something.

Everything turned sour a few months ago, their President went online for one of his usual Facebook rants and named and shamed players for their bad performance after they lost to Atletico Madrid in the Europa League. Atletico Madrid. He even said some players forced getting yellow carded so they could get suspended for the 2nd leg.

Obviously didn't sit well with the players so they all put up a post on Instagram saying these matters should be dealt in private, etc.

The president then made another post literally threatening to suspend them all for being so bratty, but quickly deleted it.

Ever since then tensions have been high.

They lost the last match on Saturday and apparently had team meetings yesterday. From that there were lots of reports flying around that everyone (players and manager) was going to be suspended, but then it was denied as fake news (there wasn't any proof to be fair).

    And now this has happened.

    All The President's Men?

I think you are mistaking him with Talisca or someone. Gelson Martins is quite good.

Lisbon is a great city. I sometimes say to Mrs Athens why she couldn't have been Portuguese instead of Greek so then we would be living in Lisbon or Porto. I've heard Porto is even better but I haven't been there.

Beaten in the cup final by a third tier side with someone actually called Quim lifting the cup. The furry cup?
