Bobby Firmino, the Liverpool legend

Scored the winner against Spurs, had his eye almost gouged out. 3 days later he comes on for 20 minutes, wins the game in injury time with a magical individual goal, a true “golazo” and then celebrates with covering one eye, of course. When Bobby’s LFC career is over (hopefully many years and many titles from now), this will surely be one of the definitive Firmino moments. Absolute legend.

One of his definitive moments?

Nah winning goals in finals or closing league games when the pressure is on define careers not what he’s done so far this season.

He’s been superb the last two games and hopefully to leads to us actually winning something this season.

If he can back up last season with another 30 goals he’ll go a long way to helping us land a trophy

He had everyone fooled when he cut back onto his right. It was meant to be.

Yknow I said last night Firmino normally doesn't score worldies but that felt like one.

Most of our players are boss

Been my fave for a couple of seasons now.... not just cos of his ability, but his seeming love for the club and his crazy antics....

He's just a 1 off....

Think i'd be gutted if he ever left

What a footballer. He has the silky skills to match his work ethic. Any rival fan I know thinks he's great. Like proper great.
Our players must love playing with him too.

Absolute baller. I hope he's here for years and years to come. Buying two more brazilians this summer should definitely have helped!

I'm raging none of backed Bobby to do a celebration related to his eye. Paddy Power had odds on Bellamy doing a golf related celebration in the Barca game back in the day.

Should we get money on Mo Salah throwing a water bottle after his scores next Saturday?

What I find quite noticeable is that during the World Cup Brazil usually played better after they subbed him on....

He is fucking class.

Exactly. Gabby Jesus was wank and didn't play well with Willian and Neymar.
Firmino dropping deep and his runs caused a mess and opened up more space for the wingers and Coutinho to exploit. Somehow Tité missed all this.

I find that there are certain goals that only Firminio can score. He is more clinical than Mane or Salah when he is in a position to score.

Is correct.
I'll never understand why Tite kept leaving him on the bench when it was so clear that Bobby was their most important forward.

It's far more likely that he will take credit for helping Bobby add more goals to his game.

I can't take any credit for that, as I'm not involved in the coaching or management of the player. What an odd thing to suggest.

I suppose all I can claim is that I correctly identified the need for the player to score more goals, and for us to bring in other attackers who can get 20 goals a season to help take the pressure off him when he doesn't score.

But taking credit for all the times I'm right would get boring. Even for a oddball like you.
