Gorgeous goal from Boufal gives Saints the lead in 85 min. From inside his own penalty area he went on a run beating at least 6 players before curling an unstoppable shot right into the corner - keeper had no chance.

Just when it seems like Dortmund could make things interesting in the Bundesliga, their lead has been wiped off after Dortmund threw away a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2 away at E.Frankfurt (having lost 3-2 in the previous league match at home vs RB Leipzig).

I was at the Huddersfield vs Spurs game a few weeks back and Town were hands down the worst Premier league team I've seen by a mile.

How the fuck did Mourinho conspire to lose that game with that squad?

Brewster hat-trick takes England U17s into World Cup semis

David Lynch@DavidLynchLFC
Rhian Brewster netted a hat-trick and also provided an assist as England clinched a place in the semi-finals of the U17 World Cup with a 4-1 win over the United States.
The 17-year-old opened the scoring as early as the 11th minute, reacting quickly to turn the ball home after an attempt from Phil Foden had been palmed out.
Brewster then doubled his and his country's tally three minutes later, sprinting onto a through-ball from Morgan Gibbs-White and dinking a finish over the onrushing goalkeeper.
Steve Cooper's team were forced to wait until the second half for their next goal but, again, Liverpool's talented young striker had a hand in it.
He returned the favour for Gibbs-White's earlier assist following a quick break, firing in a low cross that his colleague finished with aplomb.
The USA pulled a goal back late on, Josh Sargent scoring from close range, but the Young Lions restored their advantage with the final kick of the game.
Having been upended in the box in injury time, Brewster brushed himself down and fired a confident penalty into the bottom corner to seal his hat-trick.

Brewster really does have the best chance since Owen of making a big impact as a striker for us.

He's also missed a hatful of chances though and had a couple of poor games in this WC for the superb England U17 team (every chance of winning this). Of course he's very young and inconsistency goes with the territory at that age.

When do we play Everton, we need to play them before they sack the manager as we have a knack playing teams with fresh managers, Arsenal all over the blue shite..

Honestly though, Cech's attempt to save it was pathetic, it was a good finish by Rooney, but it was middle right of the goal, goalkeeper should have got closer for me.

Last week he complained Klopp failed to make the changes that he was planning to exploit, and today he basically said the same about Wagner. So he now needs opposition managers to do what he expects them to do in order to beat them. The Madness of Mourinho grows more gloriously iridescent every year.
[bcolor=transparent]So, it's 1 point from a possible 6 from Moaninho. And then he complains about attitude-- he instilled that when he came to Anfield, surely?[/bcolor]

A draw will be great. Otherwise Arsenal to lose. Not too bother about Everton since the top 4 brigade has well and truly shut.

Is Jordan Pickford capable of holding any shots? Thats about the 10th shot he's spilled today.

1-1 Monreal. It’s been coming. Everton getting pushed deeper and deeper.
