Is it fair to claim that the team having the most players who individually can win you a game are the most likely to finish first in the league?

For instance, in our case if Sturridge is having a bad day we expect maybe someone like Coutinho to score a worldy and win us the game. Or Mané.

So which team in the prem currently has the most proven game winners?

Not sure if the mods would like to keep it all in the rumors thread, but if not, let's have all the saucy stories in here and lets have them all, even the most insane ones.

Let me start.. Chelsea is about to pay a massive £30M for a Swede I don't even know that much about.. Viktor Lindelöf, 22, from Benfica. What is that all about @Modo?

Central defender Marcos Alonso, Fiorentina, is Chelsea bound. Will be announced today according to various sources.

Juventus with a massive bid on Eriksen. Let me just say this once, if he's by any means available we should go all in...

Liverpool star Emre Can has been ruled out of Germany’s next two fixtures after sustaining a foot injury.

The midfielder had joined up with Joachim Low’s squad ahead of a friendly tomorrow against Finland and Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Norway. But the versatile star, who can play in defence and midfield, will not play any part in either of the matches.

Can has suffered a capsular injury in his right foot and will return back to Anfield for treatment.

Bayern–Werder 6:0 One could say it was business as usual for Bayern, but actually Bayern have not once achieved this margin of victory last season and maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it seems like after 3 years of avant-garde coaching by Guardiola players are feeling liberated as they are being restored to their natural positions by a more traditionally thinking (but equally good) manager. Finally, Lahm and Alaba are playing at FB again! Alonso, Vidal and Thiago were all in their natural positions in a midfield triangle and Ribery (who admitted it was hard for him to...

Am I not alright to be really pissed off our net spend is -£12,000,000 this summer?

United and City are over £100,000,000 ahead of us in players and Chelsea about £70,000,000 ahead of us when they all finished ahead of us. Today Arsenal look to be spending £50,000,000 on 2 players.

I know its not all about the money, but how can we hope to keep up here? They were already better and have invested a lot more than us?

Maybe I just want shiny new things but it seems to me we are allowing the opposition to pull away.
