Gomez Leg Fractured

I imagine it will be 6 weeks until he starts training again. Such an avoidable injury.

Oh FFS. Huge miss that. For all the stick that Lovren gets though, he's still an excellent centre back, & looks much better alongside VVD (as would anyone, obv), so it's not the end of the world.

Nah Lovren looks like an excellent centre back at times. He's average.

Gomez has come back from worse injuries, so I've no doubt he'll be back to normal quicky after this one

Awwwwwww fuck. Yes, of course I want Gomez to get well soon etc, but now we're stuck with that useless tit Lovren ffs. Gomez and VVD just works, seems like a good match and balance of skills and understanding. Lovren looks like he's just doing he's doing his own thing ala Luiz.

Read its up to 6 weeks. Hopefully he’ll be back sooner than that.
Our new City pinched Physio needs to work his «magic»..

Ordinarily our physio would have had him try to run it off, the fracture would have progressed into a complete break, and then he'd be out for six months. So six weeks is already a kind of magic.

I should add, whilst your were abusing me with proclamations that I wasn't a doctor and should trust the physio, I watched him butcher Mane against Everton a couple of seasons ago, and Ox last season, and thus await your apology.

Games He will miss...

Bournemouth (A) - December 8
Napoli (H) (CHAMPS LEAGUE) - December 11
Manchester United (H) - December 16
Wolves (A) - December 21
Newcastle (H) - December 26
Arsenal (H) - December 29
Manchester City (A) - January 3
Wolves (A) (FA CUP)- January 7
Brighton & Hove Albion (A) - January 12

He's been immense but we can cope with 6 weeks.
I put some of the blame on Klopp.
Clyne should have been playing, unless he's also injured.

Clyne’s either fucked Klopp’s Mum or he’s still sniffing coke off strippers arses on Love and Hip Hop Miami.

Awful news, was forming a great partnership with vvd. Lovren needs now to prove he is the best in the world.

That injury could have happened to anyone, at any time. Its just unfortunate after a very poor challenge. Pointless to blame anyone.

I hope you are right. Really worried though as Gomez and VVD are the best defensive pairing in the PL.

Good thing it was not a ligament issue.

What's up with Clyne anyway? Anyone knows?
No one ever gives a straight answer about him on here. I think some people know him personally and are probably responsible for his decline and that is why they don't say much.

Agree on both points regarding blaming Klopp, and Clyne should have played. Do not agree on us coping without him for 6 weeks, he has actually looked proper world class and cannot remember a mistake from him that has cost us when he has been paired with VVD. His pace, and drive from the back will be missed - I don't think Lovren or Matip will give us the same level of assurance at CB that Gomez gave. This is at a very bad time - fuck Burnley and their cuntish early 18th Century tactical team.

Don't be stupid, or to quote Fabs, behave.
He got tackled and mee caught his leg. It wasn't like it was because he was tired (he's not played that much the last few years!).
Unlucky break but we have enough depth to cover this.

Lovren/Matip will cover him at CB, with VvD.
TAA/Clyne will be the RBs.

This. Feared longer than that.

Agreed. Bones heal much faster than ligaments and more reliably too.

Will be a challenging period, but we actually have some depth for a change. At the beginning of the season Gomez was the depth.

Modo is right - it is partly Klopp's fault - there was no reason why he had to rest TAA in that game. TAA does not play in a way down that right flank that causes attraction from cunt tacklers.

Ok it's partially Klopp's fault moron.
Good night moron.

Please tell me that this Moron character is someone regular on here trolling the fuck out of us

You've misunderstood what I mean. I want Gomez at CB not RB. So that's why I'm saying it's Klopps fault. Let Gomez hone his skills at his natural position.

This news and the Pete Shelley news make this a black black Friday indeed.

Next someone will tell me Joe Strummer is dead ... oh
