BBC have a poll up.

What would be your combined team.

Some tough choices if you go 442

Becker
Trippier
Alderwiereld
Van Dyke
Robertson
Moura
Mane
Eriksen
Wanyama
Kane
Salah

Liverpool 5 Spurs 6

Aggressive midfield

------------Alisson------------
Tripp--Toby---VVD--Robbo
------------Hendo-------------
-----Eriksen----Alli-----------
Salah-----Kane-----Mane

Hard to make it work given Kane is a different proposition but that is best line up for me.

I'm not that big a fan of Alli - I think he'll push on at a different club imo, but he's stagnating for me.

I'd go with:

---------------------Alisson--------------
--- Tripp --- Toby --- VvD ---- Robbo
-----------------Wanyama---------------
------Eriksen-----------Bobby---------- (have to fit him into the team imo)
----Salah------Kane-----Mane--------- (though tough to leave Son out)

..........Alisson
....Ald....VVD...Vert
Trent....................Robbo
.........Keita..Erik
Salah...Kane......Mane

That's based on longer term form and not Moura having 2 good games in his life.
Us 7, them 4.

Super aggressive ha. Surely Wanyama or Dembele over Henderson.

Son and Ox tough to leave out. Hopefully in 6 months Keita will be a no brainer

Are we talking best 11 players? Or best combined, balanced team?

In my opinion, there's no way Salah would be half as effective with Kane stood upfront, hogging up the spaces he likes to operate in.

Similarly, Kane requires service and Salah's greed would reduce his effectiveness.

Balanced team. I dunno I think they would be devastating together.

Dele Alli is ridiculously overrated. Dont' see the hype at all. 2nd rate lampard.

A 2nd rate Lampard would still make him a good player but I kinda know what you mean. Anyway, I never bother picking these combined teams as I'm often biased to pick the player we have or that I know a lot more of. The keepers are a toss up. VVD and Alderweidjeifdjeirjfmk play. Roberston plays. Mane, Eriksen and Salah play. Kane then has to be play because it's daft leaving him out. It's hard to combine two squads into a first 11 when both teams are set up differently.

Alderweireld has fallen down the pecking order there and has been put up for sale. Don't think his performances have been great for the last year or so.

Lloris (haven't seen enough of Alisson yet)

Trippier
Sanchez
Vvd
Robbo

Milner
Keita
Eriksen

Mane
Kane (bleurgh)
Salah

Tough to leave out some of our folks there. Sanchez in there just based on the fact he's been doing it slightly longer than Joemez at CB.

Lloris
Robertson
Virgil
Toby
Trippier

Milner
Erikksen
Alli

Salah
Kane
Mane

Tough on Bobby but Kane scores more goals.

That said it probably wouldnt work with Kane at the top.

It deffo wouldn't. Kane gets bucked out. The child sacrificing mouth breathing mong.

Kane shit atm..
So Bobby all the way..
I think Salah has got into his head somehow

In terms of link play, chasing back onto midfielders and setting up other players goals Firmino gets in the team every day... massively underrated player...

The only way any of their attackers get in the side is if we throw away our system to suit them so... Bollox to 4 4 2...our front 3 when on song are sensational, to split them up for any reason is destroying a masterpiece.

In midfield is where Spurs do have some players who I do rate and I would possibly be looking to swap players but in truth, at the minute I am very happy with who we have in all areas of the pitch, I rate Eriksen, but really he is a poor mans Coutinho, and that Korean lad they've got is also a good player, obviously nowhere near as good as Bobby...

I do like that lad they bought from Fulham too, Dembele is it? The fact that I am not certain of his name will hopefully illustrate that due to not being a Spurs fan I don't pay them much attention nor do I watch them much and honestly wouldn't swap one.... as for swapping in 6 Spurs players...

Good Lord almighty...

This truly unusual Spurs love In must end, it is obscene.

Wanyama is on the bench almost every game and Dembele can't last 90 mins (Dier or Wanyama repalce him for the last 10-20 mins) and even so he is still not the player he was. I'd like to say Fabinho but that may be in a year's time. For now there is really little option to Hendo, like it or not.

He's generally regarded as the best CB in the PL (VvD now in competition for that title) and the only reason his performances haven't been great is because he's not played - being injured and out ! He's now back in the team despite the fact he is in contract dispute and tried to move last Summer, and will next. He's not fallen down the pecking order at Spurs - he has not viable competition since Vertongen is not at his level, though Sanchez does look a good prospect he is young and naturally makes more mistakes than a senior CB should.

I hate to leave Firmino out and would have him over the current Kane but on last season's form would still pick Kane.

This Spurs love in is making me sick.

They're all twats and not a single one would even get into our U23s. Let's batter them!!

I think he was the best CB in the league teo seasons ago. Injuries and the contract stuff has seen his form slip. I saw a comparison and his stats were way down last year on the year before. Either way, hope he fucks off for buttons at the end of the season.
