Kickoff tomorrow 7PM for me.

Team news.
No Ings - transfer dealings
No Lallana, Matip and Grujic, all injured.

Cant wait to see Alisson. Keita with Mane, Salah and maybe Firmino.

Napoli will be a good test for us.

Lallana can just fuck off, he's dead to me, him and sturridge are just not meant to be athletes.
I'd presume we'll try and play as close as we can to our west ham starting 11. Maybe:

.............Alisson
Trent..Gomez..VVD..Robertson
...........Fabinho
....Shakira..Keita
Salah..Bobby..Mane

Would love to see a line up that's more indicative of how we'll start in the season opener.

Is this the last game? It should be then, usually when we play the final big friendly game at Anfield, we put out a side that resembles what we'll start the season with.

I'll go with what a few others have said:

----------------Allison--------------------
Clyne---Gomez---VVD--Robertson
----------------Milner---------------------
----------Keita------Shaqiri-------------
Salah--------Firmino-------Mane-----

I'm guessing Sturridge, TAA and Fabinho might come into consideration too though.

I think we will get the starting XI for next week. Tuesdays game will be more fringe players.

I'm guessing we'll see all of the top players but not together - some are only just back and likely not fit to start.

---------------Allison--------------------
TAA---Gomez---VVD--Robertson
----------------Fabinho---------------------
----------Keita----------Gini -------------
Shaqiri --------Sturridge -------Mane

Bobby, Salah, Klavan, Milner, Clyne, Camacho, Solanke - all to appear at some time.

Lallana is a waste of space ... too slow and not capable enough to last more than 3 starts in a Klopp team. I cant wait for him to be sold or to see his contract run out. Its overrated and injury prone players like him that have held us back...they know their own limitations and at time I actually believe they did not want us to get to win shit so that we could attract the players we need to replace these average limited players.

You'll never walk alone, eh?

Alisson, Clyne, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Keita, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Decent line up that. Surprised to see Gomez ahead of Klavan. Fabinho and Shaq need time to settle.

In other less important news Ben Woodburn is on the bench for Sheffield U.

I think this is Gomez's chance to prove he deserves to start on the opening day. At the moment I would still pick Klavan over him.

Will be interesting to see how this midfield 3 lines up. Wijnaldum as DM?

He's only 21 and clearly talented. Its worthwhile letting him develop and see what type of player he can become.
Klopp seems to rate him highely.

Yes to all that, but I still don't trust him as CB. Even at full-back he periodically misjudged the flight of the ball or was caught ball-watching – which is a pretty huge weakness for a CB. At this point I would even pick Phillips over him at this position.
