  1. Coutinho, obviously
  2. Klavan – it's strange to give something to a defender after a 7-goal performance, but let's not forget that we also kept a clean sheet playing against some dangerous attackers. All defenders deserve credit, but I thought Klavan was the pick of the bunch.
  3. I'll go for Firmino, although Mane, Salah, Milner, Lovren and Gomez all deserve plaudits as well.
What a performance!

I'm gob-smacked. Mane gave an absolutely sublime performance. It was spine-tingling at times.

I know where Rurik is coming from on Klavan as I think he didn't put a foot wrong and made some smart passes, blocks and presses, normally he'd be in my top 3, but...

Coutinho - world class display
Salah - Like Suarez at times tonight with his jinks and link-up play
Mane - Very sloppy at times and obviously not as sharp in the link up as the other 3 up top, but worked his knackers off and both of his goals were superb.

Have to agree - he is the one that makes defenders shit - and prepares the ground for the others. Mane running at the opposition - you can almost smell the fear. Never forget last season -we won 'fuck all' when Mane was in Africa.

No, I agree with everything above. I just think this was possibly Klavan's best display in the Liverpool shirt; he deserves a bit of recognition.

  2. Salah
  3. Gomez
Difficult to leave Mané out, but I wanted to include a defender and I am hugely impressed by Gomez.
