Not that we actually buy anyone. but so far we are suppose to be in for LB which I would be happy with if we sold Moreno.

VVD as usual is there (as news) and biggest news of all is that we want Draxler on loan. Leon Goretzka is Barca bound.

Sturridge looks to be off and if Can does not sign I would expect him to go too

Man City will want a CB now Stones is crocked. I hope they gazump us for VVD.
Why are we after a LB? We signed one in the summer. Klopp must hate him already, he's looked OK when I've seen him.

Citeh prolly won't rival us for van Dijk unless Southampton lower the fee, which was the reason why they pulled out of the competition for him to begin with.

I rate Robertson too but we need another LB even if Moreno leaves. Milner and Gomez are presumably the alternatives and they're needed elsewhere. Milner in particular did really well as a one-season stand-in but he won't have the legs for another stint there.

Yes, they're so financially prudent

Well, they dipped out previously for that reason and they're flying high without him, so there wouldn't seem to be much cause for them to change their minds now.

Apart from the injury to Stones

And it's possible they dropped out last time because of his obvious and well-publicised preference for Liverpool. The notion that the Arabs have any genuine issue with perceived value for money seems risible.

One would think so, but that's how it was widely reported at the time. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

I thought we were supposed to be in for that guy from Kajagoogoo

Exactly. At LFC he'd probably be a guaranteed first teamer, that would not be the case (to say the least) at Barca and here he'd be playing for a manager he knows and probably admires, with the chance of getting a big club back into the big time and plenty of time to move on later if it doesn't work out. Klopp has plenty of selling points to offer a player of Goretzka's age and ability.

Good to hear, in both respects. I like Grujic and have hopes for him, but he needs more playing time and Klopp can trust Wagner to handle him the right way.

Linked with Aubameyang, albeit from the Express.

Grujic linked with a loan move to Huddersfield.

Both of those would make sense. If we sell Sturridge and buy Aubameyang that would be great - and the age thing (28) is not such a big issue given we have some very good young strikers coming through.

Dortmund are out of the Champions League and struggling in the Bundesliga but he's still scored 18 goals in 23 games this season.

Grujic needs to play.

They're struggling so I doubt they'd want to get rid of a striker they couldn't possibly replace in Jan. Would love to have him of course.

It's clear Can is signing this pre nup with Juve in January, so drop him to the reserves or the bench and play Grujic in the mean time.

We should just sell him, Juve should not be able to have him for free.

At the match the other day, my mate is does seem to be ITK without ever claiming it, said Robertson had been having trouble with his newborn, as if it were common knowledge. I came home and googled it and didn't see anything, but that's what I heard.

Look we bought him for 7M or something right ? - got good use out of him by having another average inconsistent midfielder to add to our already bunch of predictable inconsistent midfielders. 7M is nothing in today's market - so I don't see the point in keeping him anyway - yeah he may turn out to be the dogs bollocks in years to come for another team and worth 50M - but the quicker we get rid of of some of the midfielders and have that opportunity for our owners and management see a requirement for a replacement - its an opportunity to buy someone better than him and improve that midfield. I actually feel nothing - zilch, fuck all at the prospect of losing Can or the likes of Sturridge. I am also close to feeling that about losing Coutinho - I think the money we will get for Coutinho may land us another player who is physically more suited to our league and provides greater consistency over an entire season. Most of the people on this site think of Coutinho as some sort of world superstar - and expect great things from him in every game. I nearly always expect the type of performance he put in for Brazil a couple of weeks ago - which is great average at best. If Barca thinks he is worth over 100M then I really hope we sell him sooner.

Oh lordy lordy, THat's pretty much my take too.

I can't press like, it'll kill me

Looks like Klopps solution to our defensive woes is another striker.
We're being linked with Aubameyang.
No DM for us...

Well, we need a new striker as well. Keita is coming next summer. Goretzka is being linked on a free transfer. Its not like we're not looking at midfielders either.
