My dad is no longer capable of dealing with the rigamarole of casting from his tablet to the tv and on and on. I've actually told him to just wind down his life sending some money to sky but I think in many ways, principled but ineffectual pettiness is the only thing motivating him to take the stair lift downstairs.

Can someone pm me about these fire sticks and what I should be doing to give the old man a more Luddite friendly solution, or does it require too much babysitting to be practical? I just need a nudge in the right direction, but want to set it up while I'm here.

I've been even thinking of setting up a kvm here and a computer just so I can deal with it remotely, but that seems excessive.

On paper it should be easy, but they gave Arsenal a torrid opening fixture and will smell blood as we come in on the back of three defeats.

I think Ekitike is needed on the pitch as he’s playing really well. Not sure id open with Wirtz as we need to be solid. But open to Wirtz for Macca.

Wataru Endo has withdrawn from the Japan squad for their fixtures during the October international window.

Wirtz still not showing any clear signs of settling in and even when he does something well individually, it feels somehow redundant, like he’s made for a different type of game than we’re normally playing, especially in the Premier League.

Isak might be physically not 100%, but with each passing game one starts to wonder if the transfer saga took a toll on him psychologically as he looks a lot more timid/lethargic than we were used to seeing him for Newcastle.

The major failing of the window was of course the failure to sign a senior CB and while Leoni doing his ACL on his debut is incredibly unlucky, the bottom line is that we’re now exactly in a situation we were trying to avoid - rotating 3 fit CB for the season, one of whom is Gomez. Konate’s form fluctuating between OK and diabolical doesn’t help.

Kerkez is taking time to settle in, which would be less of a problem if Slot played Robbo more. And on the right Bradley has been subbed at half-time for already 3rd time this season, if I’m not mistaken, and Frimpong has been unimpressive in his fleeting appearances. What’s more worrying is it seems that without Trent playing his trademark early balls into Salah, our best player suddenly turned into a pumpkin.

Ekitike is the only one so far who looks like a hit. Other than that, we are currently a worse team than last year in several positions.
