Just watching PL Legends featuring David Seaman and wondering what everyone thought of him as a Goalkeeper in his time? I'm probably not old enough to remember him in his prime...mid 90s at a guess??

Do remember that save from Paul Peschisolido in the Cup Semis at Old Trafford though...was one of the best if not best saves I've ever seen. Also recall a huge fuss being made about how Arsenal would replace him before he was eventually moved on and that mad German cunt Lehmann came in.

Where did it go wrong for him?

At Arsenal he was considered one of the most promising / talented players in the world and was already a leader for his team.

Moved to Barca and didn't quite work out as both parties had planned for reasons I still don't quite understand.

Now he's on the fringes at Chelsea who aren't exactly brilliant in midfield at the moment.

A case of being in the place at the wrong time or is there more to it?

I thought his movement was good and passing was very solid – a bit cautious at first, but then he tried some more adventurous stuff and pulled it off effortlessly. The decision-making in possession was excellent 9 out of 10 times, but the other 1 was a complete WTF moment – that's just inexperience. I liked that he won the ball pretty easily whenever he decided to tackle – he is certainly not afraid to put the boot in and the only negative in this respect were some unnecessary fouls. He even started controlling the tempo of the game, particularly after...

This is an absolutely massive game for us.  MASSIVE.  We've proven we love to mix it with the big boys and teams that want to play football against us, but the question mark is still there in respect of our capacity to deal with teams whose only aim is to get men behind the ball and hope for a break or a set piece.  We know Hull will come and try and do this.

Victories against Hull and Swansea and it is officially time to allow yourself to fan the flames of the hope in your heart.

    How should we approach it?
