So, anybody got tickets for this then? I'm off to see it tomorrow evening. Looks to be a live interview style show, interspersed with video footage from their careers.

I started following football and Liverpool properly when I was a 7-year-old, just before Robbie got his break. I loved him to bits, he was my absolute favourite Liverpool player and no other player has really replaced him I guess. I get the impression that my story might also be true for some of the other early-30s guys on here.

Our new sponsors apparently. It was announced few days ago, surprised no one posted on this. Anyone knows the economical details?

Can't say I'm too thrilled about this. As an airline they are as unreliable as they come, good thing we won't be flying much this season..

They are bankrolled by the state, and the state is as corrupted as they come. I'm not too sure why we have decided to associate ourselves with them. Hopefully it's for alot of £££..

Ok, this isn't a magical Christmas wish list (Liverpool top of the league, twins sleeping through the night etc), feel free to start one of those if you wish.

This is a real, what do you want for Christmas wish list.

I'll go first, mine is not very exciting, & if I got just one of these I'll be amazed tbh, Bex usually buys me ace presents, but not the ones I've asked for, mostly cos we spend all our cash on the kids & not so much on ourselves!

Had mixed reviews, but I WANT it. I'm not going to get it though, we just can't afford it, sadly....

There would be no farewell party, no public procession, no grand farewell. That was not Paolo Maldini’s style. The great defender’s last game in the San Siro was marked by an understated walk around the pitch for one last time, waving to his disciples.
Fifteen months earlier, after a 0-0 draw at Parma marked his 1,000th match as a professional, Maldini was asked for his thoughts on the achievement: “These are numbers which will remain in history – too bad we did not get the three points,” he said. That was Paolo Maldini.

Reputations, as Maldini himself might say, are not formed by...
