First time since the 6-1 Watford game that we might potentially have a full squad ( bar a few injured reserves).

Will Mané start? Don't think so. The club has arranged a quicker return from Gabon but will he be fit and ready after 120 mins?
I'm guessing that he's going to be on the bench.

    Line up:

I really want to believe that we'll bounce back here especially with Matip back but I just can't see it.
I'm afraid that Chelsea are really going to punish us. They don't even have to go for  a win. A draw...

So I'm in need of a trip away. The stars have aligned and makes it great for me to go next weekend. Problem is I have no idea where. I will do a lot of writing on the journey so Ideally I don't want to go by plane. I'd rather like to go somewhere by ferry or train. I might even drive. It's a contemplative journey so It's fine to travel by myself. So then with all that mind - where is good? I rather like the sound of Oslo but it's a fucking bitch to get to. Maybe Florence. Maybe the Black Forest. Possibly Switzerland. I dunno. The agony of choice! Any tips greatly appreciated. Especially...

January 2017 is Klopp's winter of discontent writ large. The worst sequence of results and performances from a Liverpool side in living memory. A desolate array of defensive calamity, midfield anonymity and flaccid attacking.

But let's not use this thread as an opportunity for bickering, or volleys back and forth of 'I told you so' vs 'Wrong as usual'. There is no value in that, and there's no shift in the status quo, or satisfaction in being correct when stating the fucking obvious.

This is a huge test for Klopp's management skills and also FSG's genuine desire to be successful on the...

I think this game finally crystallized this for me: our main issue is that the league has figured Klopp's system out and so far he has refused to adjust. Earlier this season (and last season as well) Klopp took most teams by surprise by his unusual emphasis on playing centrally, on clogging the middle of the pitch in attack as well as defense. 4-3-3 is normally a system that emphasizes wing-play in attack – but in Klopp's unique interpretation, he had wingers play practically as strikers, and even a natural winger like Mane has played (and found joy) closer to the middle – that's how he...
