I probably could've posted this elsewhere, but I didn't want it to be lost without promoting discussion.

It seems whenever we find ourselves with a star player they go on to end up wanting out. That's fair enough, given how mediocre we have been over the last decade or so. My issue here really is that we get so close, then the star player wants to leave before we can add the final pieces of the jigsaw.

There's already cause to be optimistic for next summer with the announcement of Keita - a midfielder we have been crying out for. But with the probability of Can and Coutinho leaving next...

Former England captain Wayne Rooney has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving near his home in Cheshire.
Rooney, England's all-time record goal scorer, was stopped by police on Thursday night after he had been on an evening out, according to the Mirror.

How will this mess he caused play out from now on?

I think he´s a cunt, especially after his doctor speaking about stress causing him his back problems. What a load o bull. Yes, I feel betrayed but I guess IF he plays well for a few games all will be forgotten (but he is a cunt).

    We're looking a bit thin aren't we?
Yeah Origi need time on the pitch and Im absolutely for loaning him out, but what if Sturridge gets injured? If we're ever in a situation where Firmino needs a rest and Sturridge is injured our only options in that central role are Solanke, Ings and Woodburn. Which imo means a significant drop in quality.
I wish we would have signed Sanchez due to his versatility and quality.
He can play upfront, in the hole and on the wing.

He had potential to become if not captain then at least cult hero. Flawed, divisive, but talented player who loved LFC, played with all his heart on the field and did many heart-warming, silly or just flat-out weird things off the field. Was royally screwed by FIFA days before the most important tournament of his life (partly his fault for not being more careful). I won't fancy facing him when we play Palace, but other than in those games wish him the best....
